Personality

One of Faye's main characteristics is her absolute devotion to her close friends. Originally, this was seen in her treatment of Alm, in which she had a strong attachment to him and claimed that she would do anything that he asked of her. It was not until Faye was promptly and firmly rejected that she realised that her behaviour wasn't healthy, and that she had to better herself. Instead of changing herself entirely, Faye channelled this devotion to her other friends. She is willing to go to great lengths to ensure that they are happy and protected, and dedicates a lot of her time to being around and spending time with them.

Along with this, Faye is very supportive and caring of her friends, wanting the best for them in everything that they do. Often encouraging them in their antics, Faye will not refrain from partaking in the activities with them, wanting to be involved. In times of need, Faye can also act as a pillar of support for those who need it, listening to them. While she may not be able to give them the best advice due to uncertainty, she does her best to ensure that they do not feel alone.

Faye's drive for not wanting others to feel alone is that she herself has a very deep fear of being left alone, something which developed during the events of the game. While she may appear very distant from the others at times, this stems from her uncertainty on how to approach people. It was only when Faye realised how lonely she had been in her attempts to dedicate her life to Alm that she decided that she needed to change, for the better. It served as a wake-up call for her, as she never wanted to feel alone again.

Modification

Faye grew up as a villager in Ram Village along with her friends; Alm, Celica, Gray, Kliff and Tobin. For a long time, they lived a life of peace and happiness, and thoroughly enjoyed their time there. Being surrounded by her friends, Faye was happy with life, quite enjoying the village life that they lived together.

Faye's life was changed entirely on one fateful day, one which would remain with her for the rest of her live. While playing with her friends in the village, they were amazed to find that a Zofian knight had come to visit the village, and so went to greet them. This turned out to be a critical mistake as it was none other than the corrupt knight himself, Slayde. After being confronted by Slayde, they made remarks and attempted to kidnap Faye.

After posing a threat to her and threatening that they would harm her, aid came to Faye's rescue in the form of Alm, who refused to let anything happen to his friends. Following further intervention from Mycen, the villagers managed to escape from the amoral soldiers. After witnessing Alm's success in attempting to prevent anyone from harming her, Faye felt a hefty amount of admiration for him, which soon developed into an unhealthy obsessive crush that would maintain throughout her younger years.

As the villagers continued to grow with one another, Faye began to train with Mycen, believing that should anything ever happen again, she would like to protect those that she considered close to her, especially Alm. With her admiration for Alm in full bloom, she found that she gradually stopped spending time with the other villagers, instead focusing her efforts and time entirely on him. The devotion that Faye held towards Alm was an unpleasant sight for the others to behold.

Several years of unhealthy obsession over Alm passed, with Faye continuing to devote all of her time to him. She did not alter in the slightest, constantly acting the same way to him. Her outlook did not change until the day that Lukas arrived at Ram Village, looking to recruit Mycen to join the Deliverance. While Mycen could not be found and refused to partake in the war once again, Alm was quick to step in and take his place. While all of the villagers offered to join him on his journey, Alm found that he had to reject Faye's offer to come along with him, something that shattered her psyche entirely.

When denied the chance to accompany him, Alm provided Faye with two reasons, the first being that he wished for someone to stay behind and take care of Ram Village, should trouble arise once again. Because of Faye's constant reminders that she would protect him and defeat any who hurt him, he believed that he could put his trust into her to look over their home and stop any trouble from arising. His second reason came in the form of him not wanting her to be hurt in the journey. While tearful about the rejection and deeply wounded, Faye reluctantly agreed to stay behind, believing that it is what Alm wanted the most.

After Alm and the Deliverance departed from Ram Village and left Faye behind, she found that she struggled a lot without the company of her friends. While she stuck to her appointed duties of protecting the village, Faye found that she couldn't help but yearn for more, to return to the side of her friends, and Alm. Nonetheless, she persevered, continuing to adhere to what had been asked of her.

As time progressed, the wounds that came in the form of the rejection gradually started to heal, with Faye slowly realising that a life without Alm by her side was one that she could endure. It was during this time of isolation that she came to a realisation that she had acted wrongly when it came to Alm. Instead of spending her time with the other villagers and continuing to grow up with them, she had clung to Alm, becoming selfish, obsessive and reliant on him. Having never stopped to think about what was best for Alm until now, she fears that he may have been too intimidated to talk to her about her obsessive crush, leading to him leaving her behind.

From this day forward, Faye decided that she would no longer continue to act so unhealthily towards Alm, and would instead attempt to better herself, not only for her sake, but also for the benefit of those that she had once been close to. One day, she hoped to speak to Alm, to apologise for how she may have acted in the past.

After her turnaround in regards to her attitude, Faye continued to work around and assist at Ram Village, determined on improving as a person. Eventually, she was surprised to be greeted by Celica, who had ventured down to Ram Village in the hopes of finding Alm. While Faye was quick to inform her that he had already departed, she was overjoyed to have somebody that she recognised come to the village.

Explaining to Celica what she had been doing at Ram Village since their departure, Faye found out that Celica was planning on heading out for an adventure, too. Faye quickly rushed to ask if she could accompany Celica on her journey, claiming that she didn't want to feel left behind and lonely anymore, and believed that traveling in a group could be fun for her, hoping to begin her new socialising as soon as she could. While in the back of her mind, she retained the wish to talk with Alm and make amends for her mistakes in her past behaviour, Faye wished to back up her words and prove that she would change for the better. With Celica agreeing to take her along, the group soon departed from Ram Village.

While venturing along with Celica's group, Faye gradually started to socialise more with the people accompanying Celica, finding that she rather enjoyed it. In this time, she began to act more caring and comforting towards those around her, often offering an ear to listen for those who were in need. After promoting into a Pegasus Knight, Faye proved to be a good asset in Celica's forces, becoming even more of a help when taught by the Whitewings, who also joined.

Despite her wish to talk to Alm, Faye was never granted the chance to do so throughout the journey due to the constant action that the armies faced. With Valentia reunited and peace being restored to the land, Faye continues to try and improve, for both her and her friends. She plans to one day return to Ram Village and settle down with someone who she cares for, where she wants to live a more traditional lifestyle and have a grand garden to take care of.

In the satchel that she always wears around her, Faye keeps writing equipment so that she can constantly stay in contact with her parents.Faye is extremely fond of animals, particularly birds. She had always enjoyed being in the air.She enjoys singing along with the chirping birds in Ram Village which gathered outside of her window every morning.In their time together in Celica's Army, she was taught numerous techniques by the Whitewings, who saw the potential that she had.Faye enjoys spending time with the other villagers and hates being left out of things. She constantly likes to feel involved and know what is going on.Faye has found that her wish to take care of things translated well into an interest in gardening. In Ram Village, she has a large patch of land that she tends to at every chance she gets.She will occasionally tie a flower into her hair, enjoying adorning herself with nature. This has earned her quite the amount of remarks from those who lived in Ram Village.Faye enjoys sewing, and will often offer to patch up people's clothes if they need her to.Her favourite food includes cheese, butter, yogurt, and milk!
